The photographs show the German defence line of concrete bunkers which were built on the coastline from Norway down to Spain during WWII - and how nature is reclaiming them.

O Magnum Mysterium

The soundtrack is a short excerpt of a surround soundscape I created for the Vlaams Radiokoor ‘Seven Angels’ concerts.

It is a minimalist interpretation of Morten Lauridsen’s O Magnum Mysterium with felt piano and a layered and transformed recording of the Vlaams Radiokoor - recording each section of the choir separately and recombining them for a full surround experience

It is a deconstruction of Louis Andriessens’ ‘Un Beau Baiser’ with an endless drone built on a short snippet of the composition, and a recording each section of the choir separately and recombining them for a full surround experience
